H.o.A is the abbreviation of "House of Architects". Based on this concept of the brand, the studio integrates the international design resource and local building technology, which ensure the solid building design solution to the clients. The studio concentrates on interior design, decoration, architecture, renovation and design-built service. Through the practice, various projects have been built across the country.The design philosophy of H.o.A is to compromise the function and aesthetics. We regard he design as strategy in action, focused on performance. We aim to help our clients to envision a better future and get there successfully and input design’s power to generate innovative solutions that effect real transformation .Based on the process an important part of our method is collaborating with clients and listening effectively to their needs. The client is often defined as more than a single entity, including owners, users, and public users. We engage these groups through our comparative method, in which alternative solutions are considered and evaluated. This open-source approach allows for broad discussion and participation.
Throughout years of different project experiences, H.o.A has continually develop its capabilities and expertise through prolonged collaboration with an extended network of international consultants, partners, and advisors across the world. H.o.A as the design platform, a highly flexible methodological approach has been developed which design concept, building construction techniques and collaborations with leading specialists in all building related disciplines. Drawing on the knowledge found in related fields facilitates the exploration of comprehensive strategies which combine programmatic requirements, construction into an integrated design.
Jonathan Adams
Jonathan Adams has been a practicing architect for nearly 30 years. He is the key architecture consultant and adviser for H.o.A . He was trained at London’s prestigious Architectural Association School. In 1984, after working for the Greater London Council, he joined the studio of William Alsop Architects where he helped to establish the practice at the leading edge of European architecture. He worked with Alsop for 14 years, contributing to many of the practice’s best known projects. In particular he had a major role in the design of the Cardiff Bay Visitors Centre (1980) and the North Greenwich Underground Station (1997). Now he work with H.o.A as the international architect and main design adviser for the studio.
Dante Jiang is one of the main design architect in H.o.A. He gained the bachelor degree from Tongji university. During his overseas study, he obtained the master degree in architecture in Aalborg university. From 2007, he worked in London as architect, specialised in sustainable architecture design and low energy consulting. He has wide range of design experience in masterplaning, building design and sustainability side. He got extensive experience in building scientific modeling and simulation side. Internationally, he lead the team participated many international competition many times and worked in different countries. Now he works as design director to lead the all mainland China design work.
